The market seems to heavily discount Idx's potential in for government business.

I don't think it's being counted, but I believe it will over the next year.

Time to play with a TA toy, via AIQ. AIQ has a neat charting feature that only charts closing prices. For this TA report, Im using weekly closing prices.

12/27/96 Low - $7-1/2 .............. 02/14/97 High - $11-3/4
04/25/97 Low - $7-3/4 .............. 07/04/97 High - $11-5/8
08/15/97 Low - $8-7/8 .............. 09/26/97 High - $11-5/8
11/07/97 Close - $9-11/16

The lows are building, while the highs were equal. IMO this could become a new weekly closing low. A weekly close above $11-5/8 will be a very bullish signal.

For the record, I'm considering adding to my IDX position at this level.

Happily Long IDX,
Duke

Hal, I tend to agree INS deal (or deals) can be overrated. It is in the nature of a one-shot, although it will strengthen the company financially while waiting for the commercial markets to arrive. And to the extent IDX has been overlooked, quick, big profits may bring it on the radar screens so it will get the valuation it deserves on other grounds.

INS deal is like Nebraska and Missouri football, it isn't a done deal until it's a done deal. I think 40 million over a year will move the stock!
