<<<What Went Wrong with Obama? >>>

Usually when someone writes an opinion piece, they identify themselves. Does the writer of this piece have a name, bona fides, or both?

Or are we too ashamed to identify this person?

Jay Cost's piece from RealClear politics is an interesting one. Well structured, well written, weak on evidence, except for the geographical voter dispersion argument. Which appears to be the point of the piece. He could have done without all the buildup and builddown.

If you find it interesting, I suggest you click on the url. Paul didn't copy the geographical graphics in. Which make the piece even more interesting.

I think he takes a step too far by jumping from the geographical dispersion argument to the "let's go slow" governance argument. The reason is that he fails to address the single strongest counter argument, the "we will stop everything Obama tries" position of the Republicans. Had he done that and done it successfully, it would have been an improved piece.

Just to note one more thing. Cost is a new name to me so I did a bit of searching. He appears to be a regular at The Weekly Standard and The National Review. Important to keep in mind.
