Shocked to hear that. He made over 3400 posts here, and over 1000 on the Golf thread. He had posted over 100 times on my Medical thread. Jeff had been on SI since 1998. His last post was to me on the Golf thread from the hospital. 49 years old.

I can't say that I knew Oral better than others on this thread. I never met him face to face, nor did I ever talk to him on the phone, yet, I feel a bit like I've lost a brother. He always had great conservative common sense ideas that were delivered with humor.... Condolences to his family....

I'm going to miss that bubble head....
