PF,
Re -- IBM (Cyrix) 200Mhz computer systems for sale.

Are you crediting Intel, with having cyrix inventory? Jeez, no wonder you are short. I would be too.

BTW, the inventory correction had to do with BTO of CPQ, IBM, HWP.. Since Intel's customers have reduced the days they hold inventory, it caused a one time adjustment in Intel's sales, because all of the excess inventory of their customers had to be reduced.

This could affect other OEM's of CPQ, HWP, such as disk drive makers, memory makers and other components.

Re -- By the way which consumer is going to buy all of these PII's at over $2000 when so many systems are available for half the price.

The same consumer who bought all of those MMX's at over $2000 when so many systems were available for half the price

You say ....

"Intel may have shipped the low end chips out the door and closed down production in June but it would appear they are still out there in volume in the channel. Glut Glut GLut. By the way which consumer is going to buy all of these PII's at over $2000 when so many systems are available for half the price."

Real men don't have to have their own fabs, but they should put their money where their mouth is. Why not short the stock, and see just how correct you are.

You talk all this negative trash, yet you swear you didn't short the stock. Can't have it both ways.

Also, didn't I see your same thoughts over on the "Motly Fool"?
