Pearls.. An excellent example of natural sequestration of CO2 which has been going on for a very long time.... No acts of congress, cap and trade, taxes or any other interference from man required... If you have ever looked at the Rockies, and many other mountains composed primarily of limestone or dolomite, you can get a concept of the scale of how efficient nature has been in the past in sequestration of atmospheric CO2. The carbonate in those mountains was created from atmospheric CO2 gas converted into the rock by microorganisms over the ages and far exceeds anything that man produces by burning the other less abundant forms of naturally sequestrated carbon, coal and oil.
