No one knows the full extent of Apple's announcement on Monday. I've been following this thing since Nov 96 & buying Apple since Jan97. The announcement could very well affect Intel as well as the computer industry as a whole. Whether it would be negative or postive is difficult to discern. I can't even begin to give you links to all that has been proposed and in any case everything remains rumour but I would suggest that a review of the Apple board and links is in order by the folks on this board if you care to be well informed Intel investors. By the way Intel was my largest holding until last week, now it's Apple.

Jeff - Re: "Looks like Apple's announcements on Monday have nothing to do with Intel, but everything to do with Dell."

Hardly an innovative idea.
