Re: FBN's new simulation software, "Meltdown 2000"

Meltdown 2000 is a mission-critical Year 2000 risk simulation software program thatÿenables young children to ponder what their parents might have done to shave years off their fragile little lives. Meltdown 2000 documents the problems that may occur on 1/1/2000 and suggests, just in case of catastrophe, various forms of revenge children might wish to use against their elders.

Meltdown 2000 helps children answer the question, "What might I have nightmares about and how much will therapy cost post year 2000?" Results of the Meltdown 2000 simulation are highly visual and easy to understand, assuring that children may easily grasp the ramifications of planes falling out of the sky and elevators shooting through roofs.

Said noted psychologist Steve Messinyaup, "I estimate the trauma alone from this problem could cost parents $600 Billion dollars in psychiatric bills, medication and insurance premiums. It looks like I'll be able to get that vacation house in Aspen after all." When asked how he arrived at the figure he replied: "I added up all the health care costs in the world and divided by 10. That's a neat trick my friend Kevin taught me."

FBN is a Year 2000 assessment, remediation and testing firm specializing in Year 2000 software. FBN realizes that while its marketing department predicts a 76% world-wide market share come the year 2000, 24% still represents enough of a problem that parents might want to get an early start hoarding canned goods and bottled water. This Christmas, look for Meltdown 2000 the movie starring John Travolta and Richard Gere.

P.S. Woops. Posted this to the wrong thread. Should have been on the FBN thread. Just ignore it. :0)

Michael -

Developed with Year 2000 Expert, William Ulrich [ Bill Ulrich SI profile:

That profile really doesn't look/feel/sound like the 'real' Bill Ulrich... or at least the one who helped ThinkingTools.

[granted, there can be some quite imaginative profiles here]

BC: thanks for posting all that stuff from TSIM web site. However, the Bill Ulrich whose profile you link and who is/was so active on FBN thread, is not the Bill Ulrich who is connected with TSIM. THAT Bill Ulrich, of SPG fame, Tactical Strategy Group and literary reknown, works in Santa Cruz and lives in Aptos, about 100 miles from Marin County.
