Tim that post was full of such broad generalization that of course it's impossible to argue with. But I would guess that you are talking about less than 3% of regulation. 97% of regulations make sense, allow business to aggressively perform within a specific set of rules that apply to their competitors as well, and make the products and services we use safer and better. Also I noticed how fast everyone on this thread was ready to blame the regulators for the Gulf spill because they too lenient with their regulation.
