Melanin is related to intelligence, but only because in brain cells which produce dopamine, melanin is part of the design. In Parkinson's cells, the melanin is missing and there is a little bundle of protein [which might be the result of the Parkinson's rather than the cause].

Melanin in skin is another matter altogether and is not in the slightest related to intelligence. It is purely a matter of ancestral exposure to sun [and related effects such as vitamin D creation and absorption].

There is correlation of very black skin with intelligence because Negroes are the ones with very black skin and the average intelligence of Negroes is lower than those others you mentioned. <moors, dravidians indians jews arabs chinese > But you are making the old mistake of confusing correlation with causation.

It would be very simple to get the genes for really black skin and clip them onto high-end Ashkenazi DNA and create really smart Einsteinian very black people. But they would not be Negroes. Race is not skin deep. Skin is just a superficial marker.

Here is some better information for you - cutting to the chase, ignoring skin colour and going for what matters, which is intelligence. Scroll to the bottom for intelligence: lagriffedulion.f2s.com [which is not to say intelligence is all that matters - it's a necessary but not sufficient variable]

Yes I suspected that is what you are getting at but considering Elmat was commenting on his experience with Negroes I fail to see the relevance of chinese & jews etc.

I also think you'll find huge swathes of these groups lacking melanin enhancement!
