Notice how some of these folks tell us how to live our lives in spite of the poor judgments they made in their social lives such as Newt, Palin etc. Then we have Cheney and Schlaffly who beat up on gays even though they have gays in their own families. They qualify to be the Ninth Wonder of the World, don't they :)

Just amazing, this is the kind of stuff that Reps put on the record nowadays. They don't even hide it in back rooms any longer. Yes, looking at a smattering of opinion on some RW threads, now they think that this mosque thing is the issue that will be Obama's "Waterloo." American patriots everywhere will rise up in revulsion at the very idea of a mosque 2 blocks away from "Ground Zero." They like to quote Krauthammer's analogy of a convent at Auschwitz and the like. As if it is remotely the same thing. The German and Polish people built Auschwitz, and ran it for years with the express purpose of killing people. A few lunatics with wacky ideas about Islam and 72 Virginians, whoops, I mean Virgins, ran a plane into the WTC. As if all of Islam should be charged and convicted for that. Nevermind, I don't have to rehearse the arguments here.
