You want the government to PAY what 'people are owed' in paid-in S.S. contributions --- pay back in "installments" --- to their ESTATES even after both husband and wife have died??????????????????? ALL WHILE STOPPING all current FICA taxes, and ending the program for anyone entering the workforce now????????????? Pray tell WHERE would you get the 50 Trillion Dollars or so that would be required for that? (And what on Earth makes you imagine that there would EVER be majority political support for such an idea? We would be INSTANTLY bankrupt and you wouldn't have the money to make those "installment payments" anyway... not even if you 100% ELIMINATED EVERY OTHER FEDERAL SPENDING PROGRAM... the US military, Medicare, and everything else would not add up to enough.)
