I watched it. Here is the logic I would apply. Two primary variables:

1) In the end all laws are proclaimed by man, so fallible. And how are the men/women picked to write the laws? Who gets to say what the laws are. It can't always be Jefferesona and Washington, they had slaves for gods sake-lol.

2) Times change and so must laws, so men/women will need to be picked to keep changing them.

3) So what the founding fathers did was balance democracy, congress, majority rule, courts, to interpret the constitution, and executive whom all the people elect---so said Jefferson.

And they do battle as the founding fathers expected them to do!

A democratic Republic of unique configuration is what we have found works best. That is especially true when the left and right are at each others throats right now-lol.

IN the end, there is no real difference between a democracy and a Republic and they have been the best forms of government.

>>NO we are not! No wonder you're confused.

We are a constitutional democracy

Neek, koan is confused. he has been spoon fed the idea we are primarily a democracy by his controllers and he completely lacks the internal fortitude to cry "bullsh*t!" and realize he's been lied to.

the fact he has been lied to and misled is irrelevant to him.
