Don't forget that after COMDEX there is the RSNA (Radiological Society of North America) meeting in Chicago Nov 30-Dec5. ANCR will be there. rsna.org There is a search engine at the RSNA site. Try a search of PACS(picture archiving and communications system). Remember that standards don't allow for much compression of the images so the file sizes are tremendous. This seems to be a potential natural large market for SANs and FC switches to allow numerous conections to the data to be made. Maybe someone who works at UCLS med center or talks to ANCR regularly can check on the FC network there and find out if it is fully functional yet(George Dawson can you help here?) or if there are plans to expand it, etc.
