The Germans had a tough time invading Norway, however.

Denmark was easy, their fleet just cruised into Copenhagen and parked their boats next to the Mermaid.
When they started walking in on the 'Langelinie' peer, some eager citizen grabbed a phone in a booth, called the cops and reported that "some guys are walking in here in uniforms thus 'violating the Danish no uniform in public law'...".

And the gun forts outside the port? The powder was wet, the guns didn't work.

Now, the Danes made well up for that later, around May 1st, 1945 at least 40% of the Danish population turned into active resistance fighters.

As for Sweden, as Harris reported, they stayed neutral during the war.
Just like the Swiss.
