"From almost 50% to 41% is a significant difference." Ha!!!!!!!!!!!! (And... the very quarter before? When the relationship swung exactly the other way? Was that 'significant' also?) Look at the TREND. The over all trend and the direction of the trending for both. Day-to-day doesn't mean spit. (This month up a tiny bit on the relationship, but last month down by the same amount....) The CORRELATIONSHIP is in the high 90s. That is "statistically significant".
