I have relatives in and from Egypt. It was one person's comment and it is believable that his accounting would be correct because Muslim Egyptians are prejudiced and the system in Egypt is prejudiced against non-Muslims. I would have recommended Obama introduce himself in that manner as a matter of keeping relations friendly. I figure he has advisors at least as informed as me about it. I see no reason to hold it against him either. Lots of people claim both a belief in Christianity and acceptance of Islamic principles or heritage. One third of the Quran is devoted to reverence for Jesus. Some people see no contradiction there, especially people who have diverse cultural influences. It is also possible the Ambassador made it up just to gain support from the bigoted Egyptians, thinking we'd never hear about it.

Oh, I'm sure its corrupt. As I said before, you can say the guy is nuts or lying but he apparently did say it so its not something that WND made up.

BTW Joseph Farah is of Arab descent, though I think he's a Christian.
