RE: "Garzarelli caved in on her proposed mutual fund....should we believe that it was because she was too busy to promote it, like the media would have us believe?"

I hadn't heard this news. Can you explain a little more?

Thanks,

I2

Pat: Waiting on the sidelines and waiting is probably the safest position to be in at this time.

I'm not too concerned about my current long position in my trading account because it is comprised of greater than 50% Y2K issues. I believe these issues will weather the storm if & when there is another correction.

I appreciate your insight and value your opinion. SI is a good forum to make you think before you move. It's helped me even though I still daytrade once in a while on hunches.....A 50/50 proposition - You're either right or wrong....

BTW which I believe will happen - I see the Dow at the low to mid 6000's before I see it hit 8000 again but what do I know)

Best Regards, Bob Newton

P.S. My condolences to the Jets & Jints. I saw the Jets game and they got screwed on two calls. Philly's gonna whack SF tonight....

The presumption one is making, is that there is a "rest of the bull run" to get in on.

One has to assume that the trend in motion is intact until it is broken. Since the current uptrend is in place even after a nice correction, then the bullish presumption is the correct one to make.

I love seeing all the bulls "give up". That's when a bottom is in.

S&P500 breaks 9-5-0. NEW high forthcoming.

Like I said, I liked all the bearish talk going around the last 3 weeks. It was quite refreshing! Like a late October walk in Boulder.

I'm looking for S&P 1000 in Decembre. Once the confidence comes back into the market for smaller investors, the small caps will come to life also. Decembre should be a fine month for small caps.
