Kit, they are. I am assuming buyers do not have to pay the load. They don't in pension plans, annuities and at certain break points in purchase size. Paying a full load is a mug's game. The 1.6% expense ratio is high, but not ridiculously so for a well researched intl. fund. And I suspect that ratio to come down as the fund grows assets.

I do know that their large cap value fund did have a following and still seems to be a relatively solid performer over the long haul. quote.morningstar.com However, just because they can manage large cap value doesn't mean they can manage micro stocks or go-go aggressive growth funds. These are different research areas and the techniques used in one may not work in the other. Also, the quantitative spin kind of turns me off, in general. But negative fees are attractive. The founder is a Harvard mba, which I suppose I can live with. <G> They are also a do-gooder firm that donates half of profits to charities. I like that very much. They also have a policy that no employee can earn more than 7 times any other full time employee. I love all this stuff, but the key is, can they still make money for clients? I would give them a hand. For 7 times what the boss makes. <VBG>
