Interesting table. My personal results, from southwest Canada, are 26Mbps on the speedtest at a cost of $1.47 per Mbps. That's double SKorea, triple Japan, but inline with Holland.

Supposedly I have one speed tier higher than I can go that's supposed to be 100% faster for 25% more cost. That would put it at $1.04 pr Mbps, which is arguably in-the-noise with S.Korea.

At some point, more bandwidth isn't worth paying for. I think for us, in our home, that's somewhere around 50Mbps, although I haven't thought about it extensively.
