The source of this info. is 3Com's CEO. Lee, Your source is good. However, I read that story before and there is a spin on Benhamou's comments made by the media. I cannot tell if modem sales were slow or if USRX had heavily stuffed the channels in the spring. It was my understanding that the accounting methods of COMS and USRX were different and USRX considered channeled product as sold whereas, COMS did not. I am not disagreeing with your comment. I deo see some analysts stating recently COMS is getting the USRX inventory channel under control. I might assume they either stopped production for awhile or did not produce as quickly as they were sold. In either case, you are likely correct. I am suspect of media spins on quotes when the quote did not say modem sales were slow. The quote was the channel was full of modems. Thank you for the link. Glenn
