In politics compromise is sometimes essential. I wold love to see a Senate majority of fiscal conservatives. If that is not possible it is still preferable to have a majority of Republican Senators rather than a majority of Democrats.

Put simply, would Kagan be a Supreme if Republicans were the majority? I doubt it. It doesn't stop OBama from being a leftwinger, but it slows down how far left he can yank the country.

Another problem is places like the Great Plains allowing Democrats to misrepresent them. If they would remove Tim Johnson, Max Baucus, Jon Tester, Ben Nelson, Michael Bennet, Mark Udall, Kent Conrad, and Byron Dorgan it would make it much more difficult for democrats to win a few RINOs to win the day.

We need to apply our veto to all RINOs. If they always loose the GOP will get the message pretty quick.
