We keep compromising ourselves right into tyranny. Time they compromise with US. We want to cut the size of the Federal Government in half. But if that's impossible we can compromise on 10%. That's a start.

it is still preferable to have a majority of Republican Senators rather than a majority of Democrats.

On that we can agree completely.

Obama has done more to grow conservatism in this country than William F. Buckley, it'd be a shame to throw a wet blanket on things by supporting moderate candidates....
