<<<<<<I traded Ligand on some swings for a profit in 1996

......i NEVER traded consistently with a stock until this year. could not resist telebras........went from 75 to 160 so i sold at 155.......then it dropped to 95 so i bought at 100 and then sold at 120.

......but now with the ASEAN devaluation--the market is less predictable. if the wrong things happen it could go down and stay down. picking trading stocks in a downdraft is scary. buy and hold good, strong bios and buy mostly when they are down makes the most sense.

....the benefit of biotechs is that they are not affected by asian countries (no exports to speak of), u.s. and europe are still the most stable markets in the world, and they are undevalued. (would these musings be called analysis or rationalization? :-)
