I think he made an excellent case. He said everybody embraced the idea in December. Then it fell a prey to politics and now we are where we are today. He would not have made his decision to build there if he knew it was that hurtful. And now, to move it would have dire implications is what he said. And finally, he left the door open for suggestions on what should be done besides what the plan already suggests: which is a prayer place for Christians, Muslims and Jews. The Cordoba concept of worship place is what I see about 2 miles from where I live. At this place we have a mosque, a church and a temple Beth Tora with a huge parking lot in the middle.
