Be very careful of all the 'experts' making broad generalizations on real estate and where it is heading. Some places (and this can vary by property type and price range too within a local area) are very tight others have an incredible supply..while some may still be way overvalued others are bargains of a lifetime...more than likely the first to go up in value have tighening supply, no ability to construct new at anywhere near current prices and are incredible bargains these days
