Maybe you were stuck in the dark ages, but many of the rest of us were enjoying 4-way Pentium Pro compute servers. Like Yousef said, where are(were) the AMD and Cyrix servers?

AMD and Cyrix can't compete in multiprocessor server market, because their chips don't support multiprocessing. But question is, what is the percentage of servers that require multiple processors?

The market for servers that don't require multiple processors is big enough, probably bigger than multiprocessor market. There is no reason why AMD or Cyrix chips cannot be used.
