So after the next elections, the victorious party that relied on huge amounts of corporate donations is going to turn around and start raiding their plants and factories and levying huge fines on those same donors? In which alternate universe will that ever take place? And even if someone tries, will it make any difference if you shuffle around a few hundred thousand illegals while more come in than that every year, and there is no physical way in this universe we will ever deport 12 million people? The whole debate is way off in lah-lah land somewhere while the facts on the ground inexorably grind along in that ridiculous, futile circle I mentioned earlier.
