Speaking of the 2010 hurricane season.....

My Prediction
"9. The 2010 east coast HURRICANE season will be active with 15 named storms, 7 will reach HURRICANE status and 4 will hit land. Definitely on track...totally predictable"

And guess how many we have had? yup...14 named storms. Seven of which reached Hurricane status.

And I didn't have any fancy climate models like the academic elite....just common sense and a basic understanding of how weather works.

I came up with my prediction based on the lackluster hurricane seasons the previous two years, With the 2009 season heavily influenced by the ENSO (El Nino) weather pattern.
