Anything can happen. I hope so too and good luck to you.

Look at the amazing muted response to great RIM results as an example.
The shorters are so convinced that RIM's business model is failing, despite direct evidence to the contrary, that they keep shorting into any strength, keeping the stock down.
If APPL had published similar results last night, their stock would have almost doubled today.

RIM, for whatever reason, is the ugly duckling at the moment, despite proving the flock of doomsday sheeple wrong.
The few analysts with a brain of their own that can see through the wool have said that fair value for RIM.TO before yesterday's blowout Q results was around $90/share.
The pendulum will swing back at some point. I continue to write RIM options and am replacing today's expiries with new October ones.

Also rolled up my 20NOV APC puts from $34 to $45 for a great gain.

For those of you that have read this far through my boring post, I would like to publicly thank Commander Cricket (Michael) for steering me in the right direction with option writing. He put me on to a couple of great books and had some very useful tips in the springtime.
I highly recommend writing options to those here that do not already do this. I know Bearcatbob is a practitioner.

Cheers,
S&P

RIG chart is rolling over. Has RIG peaked its current upcycle?
Time to short?
Safe to short?
