RIG. The weekly chart suggests that RIG is in a big ABC correction that started in May of 08. Right now is looks like it is the c part of the B wave that started early this year. The c wave seems to have formed a rising triangle, which is a completion pattern. That suggests that the big C down is about to begin. Note that there have been 5 little waves in the pattern. The 5th wave of that pattern sometimes overshoots the upper line of the triangle. So the save play is to wait for it to break cleanly below the lower line. I will dip my toe in with a small short now to make sure I keep it on my horizon. Blessings, JRH

I swapped out of RIG into EOG. Out of service and into E&P. Though I did buy some DO since it is now cheaper that RIG and less levered without having participated in the run. That was a few days ago. My timing, for once in a life time, was impeccable.
