true enough. if a sign was posted at the store, he shouldn't have carried in.

if asked to leave because they knew he was carrying, when told of the policy -- he should have left.

don't disagree.

but even if he didn't -- the person who saw the gun had more than the option of calling the cops if he wouldn't leave -- again, assuming he wasn't belligerant and threatening -- I do not know -- commenting on the limited amount of info there ...

if he was threatening -- they had the right to call the cops
