those FF plug-in container messages were dated June. FF since upgraded to 3.6.10 just days ago. But you're right, the container uses lots of memory. On the other hand it allows FF to keep running when a plug-in crashes.

I don't care how much memory is used as long as response feels fast. With the latest version of FF that is the case on my PC.

I'll have to try seeing if I have the plug-in container running, next time I'm on my laptop, but MSSE was running before Fx was up.
