"The intention of winning in 2004 at any cost was accomplished as enough Americans in Ohio and Florida felt good enough to pull the lever for GWB one more time.."

I think most Americans were tired of Bush and the wars ALREADY by 2004. Tip o' the hat to the Bush team for making KERRY, a genuine war hero, seem less "American" and patriotic than Bush, a "nogo" who dodged the Vietnam War by getting his family to secure special treatment for him.

Rove's greatest triumph, but WE paid the price..

I'm playing long, but with things reputed to do well in hard times, tobacco, booze, gold and the wealthy are apparently still buying jewelry. It's the strongest sector recently.

But, I remain pessimistic. Too much debt out there.. I've got everything trailing stopped.
