My point is the American Dummy doesn't know what basic investments are and if you go to your local DMW and ask people if Bill Gates got all his money (50+ Billion) from Microsoft salary paychecks , they will say yeah! My point is most Americans believe it or not don't even know what a capital gain is and they certainly don't know what an unrealized capital gain is and they definitely don't know that the majority of that 50+ Billion is in Microsoft Stock and is unrealized capital gains. And I'm certain they don't know that the majority of that 50+ Billion has never ever been taxed and probably never will be.
