it gives me a perspective on the market that i can not get from the talking heads on tv. you need a foundation from which to make big big decisions. I do my own investing. if you talk to 5 investors, you get 5 different views. long-term and short term. sy probably has the same long term views that bob does. but in my view, i can not go thru the short term Yoyo "stuff" that sy wants to do. and by he way, he wishes he did not do this past downturn. so, I really appreciate bob's longterm views. and how he has put those views forward. longterm, I hope to get value from this method.
