How exactly does Level II show you what is going on? My understanding is that you can see order flow and where it is coming from. So, if my understanding is correct and you see Solly selling, how do you know it is the firm or that they are selling for a client? Also, let's assume Dell trades 7m shares today and CPQ 9m. Are you saying you think enough market makers are in cahoots to a degree where they can move a couple million shares on their own to depress prices?? In CPQ's case, I'm assuming it's a moot point as they are on the NYSE...

Every time a stock goes down, some people start to blame the MM's! This seems to a good indicator that the stock will go even lower!
