Agreed.

I think the dividend money is at best subtle.

Squeezing a record high ishort interest could be due to retail participation.

The news slant has formed it to be predominantly negative - yet as earnings come out and buy backs (includiing mergers accelerate) the short are unbeknowst getting trapped.

It is the fast price action of the trapped misbelieving shaorts that will bring in the flood of speculators money that will drive the breakaways to new highs.

It always takes fast price action to get the masses off indecision.

The short squeeze of an unsuspecting retail short population must be established before the big run up can be honestly considered viable.

We may be near - I think we are.
