Their whole goal is to preserve their Hispanic base of voters. Especially when they refuse to call anyone an "illegal immigrant," preferring instead to use the euphemism "undocumented immigrant." To come out and be shocked, shocked at the thought of Meg Whitman employing an "undocumented worker" is insincere at best, exploitive at worst. Not only that, but it's Gloria Allred. Need I say more? Tenchusatsu P.S. - Not that I don't think Meg Whitman deserves to be attacked like this. She's been less of an ideal candidate, even by CA standards.
