This thing is heading to $5 and lower. This is the time to sell!

If you are bottom fishing, why not pick something else without all the legal problems. There are so many cheap stocks arround. Why S3?

sorry ray,
the 52.3mm shares out are NOT factored into shares outstanding. you need to read S3 10Q which says something like they do not include options that are too far out of their strike price. I think its a FASB rule. so you gotta add 5.3 mm shares if it ever gets to $19.22.

i think you are 3 months too early. i'll watch the wagon right now with the shares i hold. i'm not averaging down unless its at a ridiculously low price.

also be a bit careful who your fellow shareholders are...for example, would you recommend this stock for your mom's retirement portfolio?

and how much do you think S3 is selling their DX chip for if they can wholesale the graphics board with 4mb edo at $45?

do you think they are getting their list price of $22?

what do you think Trio sales prices are?

why don't you stop complaining about whining, and post the positive scenarios, where S3 can maintain their 12mm /quarter unit sales rate, and increase their average selling prices (ASP) next year?

I for one CANNOT create this. DOOM and GLOOM is much easier to forecast.

also long,
BL

I lose money because I listen to people like you...

I bought into S3 a few months ago because I saw some positive posts on this thread hyping up this stock. I did so against my broker's recommendations. Boy, was that a huge mistake.

If you take a look at this company, it's:

1) losing money
2) being sued for fraud
3) stagnant
4) terrible underperformer
5) terrible management
6) states they will lose money next quarter
7) increased competition/slimmer profit margins

Ray, how do you justify this company trading above $10 within 6 months?? Hmmm, maybe you're an investor by day and fortune teller by night?
