Mohan - I would REALLY be surprised if Apple had anything to do with it! Until they get their act together (and even if they do), I can't see how they could have much impact at all on CPQ and Dell. They have not gotten into the Intel world as yet, and if they stay with the Apple model, their market share is SO small at this point that it really doesn't matter. I really don't like the action in the stock, it's now down around 25% AFTER great earnings and positive comments for the future by management. I have a short term view though, in the long term it really does not matter as long as the PC industry stays healthy. The tape does not lie though, and the stock closed very near it's low for the day, and I hope it's not a signal that things are slowing down....

John

The other thing that bothers me is that this stock usually acts better than the Dow, lately it's been acting much worse, the general market was not down that much today, but the techs were quite weak, INTC included.
