John: you have point about Apple. I have been unloading my individual stocks for the last 4-5 weeks and by last week I closed my last position and I am holding cash and waiting on the sideline for an opportunity to get back in.

John Koligman. Re: CPQ price. Remember that the mutual funds have huge profits on CPQ, even if they bought as recently as April. Also remember that they close their books in November.

Now what red blooded 26 year old fund manager with an itchy finger could resist taking profits rather than see his/her profits ebb away with just 20 days before they close the books for the year.

I think both CPQ and Intel are excellent buys at these prices and you will make +20% return over the next five years with either of these companies.
