marc, I agree - there will be many consequences, some intended and some unintended, of Obama"Care" on the markets and the economy. Bob discussed some of them on his radio show yesterday. He mentioned

- the hidden 3.8% medicare tax on what was supposed to be a "Tax-free" gain on the sale of one's personal residence if threshold for applying the 3.8% medicare tax to investment income is exceeded.

- how because it is becoming uneconomical for them, insurance companies are starting to announce the discontinuation of offering health insurance. This will force cancelled policyholders to buy coverage initially on the newly created Obama'Care" exchanges (if they ever get created), and, ultimately we will be left by default with a "Single-Payor System" (probably the administration's intent all along).

WHAT SPECIFIC SIGNS WILL CONVINCE YOU that most everyone who could move the stock market down in any significant way are already out of the market (have already sold out most all of their equity holdings).

Do you see the current lower levels in daily market volume as a valid sign we are approximately at this point?
