they were taken down when they repaired the roof. Reagan saved us money by not putting them back up. They were probably POS anyway.

When I did contract work for the WH I charged double or triple because of all the wasted time dealing with the security

They had to resurface the roof and it was decided they weren't worth the cost to reinstall - probably saved us tax payers money. Obama's panels are photovoltaic and better than water heating models like carters but they will come at a very high price.

Already? In 30+ years?

People should install overpriced water heaters because they might pay for themselves before 40 years are up?

I understand the symbolism and that's fine for a president. But no financially responsible person would spend the money to do this. It is just beyond stupid.
