Don't disagree there. I wouldn't short it here, that's for sure. Things in Vegas haven't seemed that lively to me, but Wynn also has a big stake in Macau, as does LVS. If you wanted to play a purer play for Vegas there's MGM (I don't like them because they horribly overspent on CityCenter, but that's me). Or BYD as a derivative play on a Vegas recovery (which is still a ways a way, IMO). Last year's comps were pretty horrible, let's face it. I actually haven't been there in 4 months, maybe things are getting better. I hope so, I have a home there.

Yes, I've stayed away from MGM because of the BK threat. I had been watching BYD. Its too late for LVS and WYNN...IMO.....they have made their big move.

Having said all that, did you see how much MGM jumped up today? I know that was short covering but there was no big sell off at the end of the day. Really surprised me given the concerns about BK.
