Piece of crap is pretty harsh. It's just not what was promised.

Be glad they were flogged into developing a hybrid at all. This is GM! This is DETROIT!

It sounds like the FWD at speeds near 70 was a late, forced compromise to get it to DO 70 or above.

Most reviews I've seen of it, are delighted with it.

It has all of the benefits of a plug-in (can do daily commute trips without ever using any gasoline), with all of the benefits of a hybrid (unlimited range thanks to on-board generator).

A real step forward.
