The only problem with these electric cars is they're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced, $43K for a Volt is absurd... I think electric power can be converted into magnetic fields which could run homes... all over Europe I've seen windmills, but that idea was shot down by Kennedy... and France has been using nuclear power for more than 30 years but that was shot down by politicians of the liberal persuasion... We could easily build cars that run on hydrogen, the only thing it would emit is water... it would be as safe as cars now running on highly flammable gasoline... GZ
