<Therefore, while I have always thought Ancor will make most of their money in the storage market, I think we can all increase our estimates of how much business Ancor will derive from the network backbone market and the high performance LAN market> You know, Steve, I have started thinking lately, why doesn't ANCR simply partner with someone who has a GE workgroup switch? I have seen some out there that have a FC port on them-although I can't remember any off the top of my head. This article talks about 40-50% of backbones have runs longer than 100m. You could have a setup with FC on the backbone and GE for interdepartmental use, and FE to the desktop. bp
