BCBob, PBR -- thanks for sharing that. What would a Marxist want with a company that requires $60B of cash over the next 5 years? I thought those kinda guys mostly want to spend other people's money. With PBR, for the next 5 year's there ain't any of that to spend.

Ignore that silly quote -- anyone who opposed the fascist dictatorship that used to run Brazil was labeled as such and perforce had to be a guerilla, or at least had to ally with them. Remember how Lula was portrayed as a radical Marxist who would nationalize the entire country and turned out to be a pragmatist who has done a great job for everyone, including capitalists? Rousseff is a disciple of Lula, and expectations are that she will follow the same pragmatic centrist approach, expectations which will most likely win her the election. Even those radical right wingers at the Fraser Institute like Brazil as a place to invest. LC
