Again, tech, stop calling DLT a disk: ..he's going to get me official information on what's behind the DLT mystery. If I'm wrong, I'll be glad to swallow, but I have a feeling we're both right. If I knew more about the manufacturing of these disks,.. If you don't know the difference between a tape and a disk, please say so, and someone more patient than me can explain it to you. [edit: okay I read your response to my earlier post. But on the contrary, I have followed this thread quite a bit, (starting in June), and I haven't seen very many people who don't know what DLT is. I think keeping the terminology correct is important, just for the sake of clear communication.] DK
