VVV like it or not, emotionally attached to apartheid or not....provides South Africa the Parliamentary style of Governance they enjoy today....without that background and the accompanying VVV values...SA would be just another drum beating, tribal mentality Rwanda with people trying to figure out whose arms to hack off next...

you need to get past the apartheid portion and look at the real SA...it is a Great African country and owes most, 99%, of its Greatness to VVV like it or not...

African countries prove over and over that left to their own indigenous devices they usually do not do well...

BS, your bigger stick barbarian ideology lost. VVV rules win because values matter. A few British troops [a couple of thousand] couldn't conquer a huge empire like China if the locals were fully supporting their rulers.

The fact is that life was uniformly bleak around the world for those lower on the pecking order so they were not worried when the British overthrew the local thugs and in fact the local yokels were happy to join in on the British side, which was the only way they could get their freedom.

I have done the same myself, fleeing the depredations of my compatriots and living in other countries. I keep my passport handy. I scan the horizon for some country offering Tradable Citizenships so I can get them to conquer NZ and free me.
